Welcome to My Life with T, a slice of life blog that chronicles the journey of two dads raising a wonderful 7 year old boy with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD).
We are a loving family that became a forever family in 2016 when the hubby and I adopted T at 14 months old.
Navigating life with a little known disability is challenging. But it is also a life that is filled with joy, laughter, fun and adventure. We would not trade it for anything in this world.
As T’s Papa, I hope to use this blog to raise awareness about FASD and to help reduce the negative stigma often attached to it. In doing so, I will share our ups and downs, successes and stumbles, and light and darkness – while also maintaining a level of privacy on my son T’s behalf.
I wholeheartedly believe there is always reason to live life with hope, humour and heart.
